Terms of Service
Last updated: May 7, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of KOVA, a care coordination SMS, MMS, and voice service operated by Kaigo Health, Inc. on behalf of participating healthcare providers.
Program Description
KOVA helps Medicaid-enrolled patients maintain continuous coverage. The service may include renewal reminders, eligibility guidance, document collection, Medicaid process education, scheduling, and related care coordination communications from or on behalf of your healthcare provider.
Program name: KOVA by Kaigo Health
Operated by: Kaigo Health, Inc.
Eligibility and Consent
KOVA is available to patients of participating healthcare providers. You may receive KOVA messages only after you or your legally authorized representative provide communication consent through your healthcare provider.
Consent to receive KOVA SMS messages is not a condition of receiving medical care, Medicaid coverage, or services from your healthcare provider.
Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on your renewal timeline and how you respond. You may receive multiple messages per week during active renewal periods and fewer messages outside renewal windows.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages. Kaigo does not charge patients to use KOVA.
How to Opt Out and Get Help
To stop receiving KOVA text messages, reply STOP to any message. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out.
To get help, reply HELP to any message, email support@kaigohealth.ai, or contact your healthcare provider.
Opting out does not affect your care, your relationship with your provider, or your Medicaid coverage. It only stops KOVA text messages.
Document Uploads
You may choose to send photos or documents to KOVA by SMS or MMS. You are responsible for making sure any document you send is accurate and belongs to you or the person you are authorized to help. Kaigo handles documents as described in our Privacy Policy.
Limitations
KOVA is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
KOVA is not a substitute for medical advice from your healthcare provider. Information about Medicaid processes is general guidance and may not reflect every individual case. Verify critical information with your state Medicaid agency, managed care organization, or healthcare provider.
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. For SMS consent details, review our SMS Communication Consent.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of KOVA after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
